This is an Italian edition of Bellin's map depicting the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Anticosti Island at the entrance to the St. Lawrence River. Locates Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton Island, Newfoundland and part of New Brunswick and the Gaspe Peninsula. Adorned by an attractive rococo-style title cartouche and enclosed distance scale.
