This is a reissue of Hooker's map that first appeared in 1831, but does not have the detailed text surrounding the map. The hand coloring of wards ends at Fourteenth Street, except for the green wash along the shoreline of the Hudson and East Rivers. The streets, parks, Battery, Washington Square, Bellevue, Hudson Square, and docks along the Hudson and East Rivers are among the voluminous information presented. Published by Peabody & Company.
