This is a very handsome map covering the Turkish Empire at the height of its power. The region extends from the Balkans to Persia and from Northern Africa through the Arabian Peninsula, and is filled with place names, topographical features, and notes. It is embellished with a fine title cartouche with three Turks.

A nice impression with original color that has been lightly refreshed. There is a professionally repaired centerfold separation that enters 4.5" into map at bottom. Side margins are narrow, but still ample for framing.
