This is a spectacular panoramic landscape view of the Sinai Peninsula and the desert where the Children of Israel wandered for forty years. It is shown from a perspective high above the Mediterranean Sea. The view begins with Mt. Pisgah on the left and shows the Dead Sea, Jordan, Mt. Sinai and the Red Sea. The encampments are shown throughout the landscape along the road taken. The view is adorned with a dramatic cartouche and was printed on two joined sheets.
