This scarce map covers the area from Canada down to the northern tip of South America. Settlements in the British colonies are identified, along with the locations of native Indian tribes, rivers, lakes, and mountains. The borders of the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia extend to the Mississippi. Florida is divided into East and West Florida. There are several notes throughout, such as "Thus far the Mississipi has been ascended" and "Extensive meadows full of buffaloes". Texas is named Cenis and New Mexico.
