This uncommon chart of the tip of South America, Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Islands depicts the route of Captain Cook's second voyage around Cape Horn aboard the HMS Resolution from December 1774 to January 1775. At bottom right is an inset of Staten Island (Isla de los Estados).
