This large promotional map of the world was published for the Maestrani Chocolate company. The map is filled with the routes of numerous ocean liners, including the names of the companies operating the routes. The tracks of the White Star line (owner of the Titanic) are depicted as the most northerly routes sailed between Britain and the United States. This map was published roughly five to ten years before the Titanic’s sinking, as the map names Kongo Staat in Central Africa which later became the Belgian Congo in 1908. Printed by V. Brunn in Berlin.
