This lovely map, based on Sanson's cartography, covers the 'boot' of southern Italy in considerable detail and also part of Albania and Greece, including Corfu. The title cartouche features two men taming spirited horses and angels supporting a coat of arms. The four distances scales are also enclosed in a decorative cartouche.

Condition: B+

Original color on bluish, watermarked paper with wide margins. There is a hint of toning along the centerfold and a few tiny holes along centerfold at top of map.
