This is a reduced version of Sanson's map of the Persian Empire covering the region of present-day Kuwait, Iraq, and Iran with a part of the Arabian Peninsula. Engraved by A. d'Winter and decorated with a wreath-style cartouche.

Condition: A

Nice impression and color with a thin strip of masking tape along the top edge of the sheet on verso, away from the map image, causing some stains in top margin on recto.
