This very beautifully engraved map of Japan shows a few major cities, rivers and the mountainous topography. The map extends to include much of the Korean peninsula. The stippled sea features a large ship and a sea monster. The map is also adorned with a strapwork title cartouche that also incorporates the distance scale. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B+

A nice impression with attractive color and even, overall toning.
