This atlas, intended for student instruction, includes 13 maps (12 of which are double-page) of the world, continents, climate and natural history. The maps are derived from Keith Johnston and Milner & Petermann and showcase the use of thematic mapping in describing ocean currents, river systems, precipitation and the winds. Produced by Cornelius Cartee and designed to accompany his Elements of Physical Geography. Published by Hickling, Swan and Brewer in Cleveland, Ohio.

Maps are good to very good with light toning, offsetting and a few occasional spots. Covers are missing with a library stamp on title page.
