This is the scarce Italian version of this map, which covers all of Nova Scotia including Cape Breton with Prince Edward Island (Isola S. Giovanni) shown in good detail. The Micmac tribe is located near Shelburne. The southeastern part of Nova Scotia is named Acadia. South of Nova Scotia numerous banks are noted, where "la Pescaggione e ottima" (the fish are very good). A decorative rococo-style cartouche fills the lower right corner of the map.

Issued folding with minor soiling. The left side of the sheet has been remargined with old paper and the neatline has been reproduced in facsimile.
