This handsome map shows the area around Recife (Pernambuco), extending north to include Olinda. There are depth soundings, anchorages, and rocks shown, along with several navigational notes. On shore, forts, batteries, and the road between Pernambuco and Olinda are shown. Decorated with a rococo title cartouche.
