A crisply engraved map describing India, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the island of Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and a portion of Sumatra. The map is filled with detail, particularly of the coastlines and small islands, including the tiny island of Sinca poura (Singapore). A decorative floral cartouche surrounds the title, and three scales of miles are located at the bottom of the map. Engraved by Guillaume Delahaye.

Original outline color on watermarked paper with one tiny hole just off the eastern coast of India, some very faint printer's ink residue, and a small hole confined to the left blank margin.
