This chart depicts the coastline between the Orinoco and Amazon Rivers, naming forts, rivers, capes, and other key locations in between. Two large insets show detailed views of the mouth of the Orinoco River and the area surrounding the Suriname River, each with numerous depth soundings and shoals depicted to aid in navigation. The map is attributed to Robert Waddington.

Issued folding with a few small spots of foxing and trimmed to neatline at top. There is a short fold separation and two tiny adjacent holes at top that have been archivally repaired.
