Magnificent map on two sheets of Scandinavia and the Baltic States with a brilliant figurative armorial cartouche dedicating the map to Charles XII, King of Sweden. The map is filled with excellent detail of the topography and the cities, towns and villages. The size given is for each sheet, and varies slightly. If joined the map would measure 23.8 x 35.5".

Fine impressions with original color on watermarked paper and light toning along sheet edges. There is minor printer's ink residue in the Gulf of Finland.
