A small and very early map of the island showing just a small part of the western coastline from Point Loockhoute to Ysfe Caep. It is beautifully engraved with two sailing ships, a raft of penguins, a compass rose and a strapwork title cartouche. French text on verso.

Condition: B+

A fine impression with light show-through of text on verso.
