This scarce map of the heart of Spain includes Palencia, Segovia, Madrid, Tarazona, Toledo and Badajoz. The map is divided into provinces and filled with rivers, roads, and place names. Madrid, Valladolid, Badajoz and numerous other large cities are depicted with miniature castles. Adorned with a decorative rococo-style title cartouche featuring the coat of arms of Castile.

Watermarked paper with original outline color and wide margins. There is toning along the centerfold, light offsetting, a bit of color transfer, and a few spots. There is a damp stain in top blank margin, and a centerfold separation in bottom blank margin, neither of which affect the image.
