This rare patriotic and statistical broadside, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, is comprised primarily of statistical tables listing populations, distances, railroads, rivers and mountains. The center section contains detailed illustrations of Colonial paper currency as well as a contemporary $50 treasury bill. The bottom portion is devoted to Oregon and Texas, describing the boundaries, geography and climate. Decorated by a very detailed American eagle illustration at the top with a "E. Pluribus Unum" ribbon clutched in its beak. Surrounded by a vine and leaf border.
