This charming miniature map depicts towns, rivers, and mountains throughout Sri Lanka. Pierre Duval was Nicolas Sanson's nephew and pupil. He published a wide range of atlases and individual maps including a fine miniature world geography with many of the maps based on Sanson.

Condition: B+

A fine impression with attractive color on watermarked paper, some soiling at top left, and a hint of toning along the centerfold.
