This attractive little map covers the region from Florida to Arizona and all of Mexico and Central America. Despite its size, there is a lengthy note at bottom explaining that the Mexican Emperor and his subjects were "massacred & almost totally extirpated by the Conquerors." This is plate 49 (of 52) from Atlas Minimus, considered one of the most attractive miniature atlases of the 18th century.
