Impressive bird's-eye plan of Antwerp. Within the city walls are shown the streets, houses, gardens, docks, numerous churches, and the magnificent cathedral. The town walls are seen heavily fortified with bastions and armaments, the arsenal is marked on the city’s seaward side with the River Scheldt full of commercial and naval shipping. The coat of arms is at upper left and a key naming 32 important sights is at bottom left.
