Centered on Germany, this dense and elegantly engraved postal route map stretches from Cambridge to east of Warsaw, going as far north as Denmark and down to Venice in the south. In addition to postal routes, it shows political divisions, topographical detail, and myriad towns and cities, including Berlin, Paris, Budapest (still split across the Danube), Hamburg, Vienna, and Warsaw. Includes a cartouche with nine distance scales. Engraved by I. Stemmers. Printed on two joined sheets.
