An interesting and uncommon map showing the regions near Genoa that was affected during the War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). The map extends north of the Po River and includes Pavia and Piacenza, as well as excellent topographical detail. Large blocks of German text recounts the victory of Austrian military leader Maximilian Ulysses, Reichsgraf von Browne. Full sheet with text measures 23.6 x 19.4".
