This early statistical book focuses on the United States. It is dated November 1833 and appears to be the only year it was published. A great deal of information is included on the individual states with a focus on the early railroads and canals. Included with the text are six small regional maps by G.W. Boynton (two maps approximately 3.5 x 4.5" are included on three sheets). They are Vicinity of Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore & Washington, Charleston and New Orleans. The maps are well drawn with good detail for their size.
