This copper engraved map shows good detail of the river system along with numerous Indian tribes. The Rocky Mountains form a single dominant range down the entire continent. L. Trimpanogos carries the notation "Doubtful" and an unnamed lake in the approximate location of the Great Salt Lake is noted as "The Western limits of this lake are unknown."
