This uncommon map covers the Gulf of Mexico and the West Indies. There is sparse detail mostly confined to Hispaniola and the Windward Islands. Currents and wind directions are noted. Nicely engraved by Andre with a garland-draped title cartouche.

Condition: B+

A strong impression issued folding on a watermarked sheet. There is faint offsetting and remnants of masking tape on verso, confined to the top blank margin.
