This detailed regional map covers the Rhone-Alpes region with a small portion of Italy. It includes the cities of Lyon, Grenoble, and Turin. Fortified cities, small towns, monasteries, roads, and canals fill the landscape along with topographical depictions of hills, mountains, and forests. At the top right is a large title cartouche embellished with allegorical figures overseeing a battle.
