This is a large and strongly engraved portrait of Captain Cook surrounded by an oval frame. Below is a list of the Voyages and the years at sea. The portrait was drawn from an original painting and engraved by Mr. Thornton. Published by Alexander Hogg in George William Anderson's A New, Authentic, and Complete Collection of Voyages Round the World.

A strong impression with minor soiling, a few soft extraneous creases, and several small archivally repaired chips in bottom blank margin.
