This lot features three prints depicting numerous globes (both terrestrial and celestial) and armillary spheres.
A. Physique, by Jacques Francois Benard, circa 1790 (5.8 x 7.6"). Drawn by Fossier and engraved by Benard. Condition: On a watermarked sheet with tiny binding holes in the left blank margin.
B. Geography, by Andrew Bell, circa 1797 (6.6 x 8.0"). This striking print was engraved by Andrew Bell, the co-founder of Encyclopaedia Britannica. Condition: A few unobtrusive spots.
C. Spheres and Globes -- See System of Geography, by Charles Cooke, dated 1789 (8.4 x 13.8"). Drawn by Milne and engraved by Lodge. Condition: On a watermarked sheet with a few tiny holes in the blank margins and some unobtrusive spots.
