This fine map of Italy includes the islands of Corsica, Sardinia, and part of Sicily, as well as the western coast of Croatia. Italy is filled with towns, lakes, rivers and mountains. The map features a sailing ship, a sea monster, navigator's dividers over the distance scale, and a decorative strapwork cartouche with a wind head. Latin text on verso.

Condition: A
A clean and bright example with a slightly uneven impression in bottom corners. There are professional repairs to a centerfold separation that enters less than 1" into map at bottom and a tear confined to bottom blank margin.
