This handsome map is centered on Bergamo in the Lombardy region. There is excellent detail of towns, roads, forts, universities, and more. The map was created to depict the encampments, movements, and battles of the Imperial and French military forces, which are identified in the key at bottom right. A cartouche at bottom left lists the number of inhabitants, horses, cattle and other details of various towns in the region.

A sharp impression with original outline color, one small worm hole in the map, and very light toning along centerfold.
