This rare sheet contains 6 bird's-eye plans of cities in northern Italy: Milan, Mantua, Pavia, Brescia, Crema, and Bergamo. Each plan includes a short description of the town below the image. The plans were apparently drawn from various sources: Milan and Mantua were based on views by Braun & Hogenberg, Pavia was based on Blaeu, and Bergamo was based on Pietro Bertelli. We could not find any examples of this sheet being offered for sale in the last 40 years.
