This is a reduced-size version of Ortelius' map of Palestine, extending from the Nile Delta to Berytus. The map follows the route of the Exodus out of Egypt. The title cartouche is contained within a decorative border at bottom right, which is balanced by another cartouche at top left describing Jerusalem. German text on verso.

Condition: B+

A dark impression that is slightly uneven at right, on watermarked paper with attractive color and a professionally repaired centerfold separation that enters 1" into map at top.
