This attractive sheet focuses on the history and genealogy of the Mogol Empire and its Emperors. At center is a genealogical tree flanked by maps of the Grand Mogol Empire (India) and the Kingdom of Kashmir. Below the maps are columns of French text describing the Empire, its celebrations, and each of its former Emperors. At bottom are vignettes depicting three common rituals: an elephant battle, the manner in which the Emperor was weighed, and a ritual of burning the dead.
