This large map of the United States shows the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad system in heavy black overprinting originating in Chicago, Peoria and St. Louis. These lines connect to a larger network of railroads to points west and are identified in red overprinting. A note below the map states that "copies will be mailed to any address on receipt of twelve cents in postage." Decorated by three small vignettes at bottom left depicting interior views of the cars. Produced by Rand, McNally & Co.

Professionally backed with linen to reinforce and repair several small edge tears that enter up to 1" into the map image, a couple of short tears in Canada, as well as chips in the blank margins and in the title above the map. A portion of the title border at left and right has been replaced in facsimile. Minor foxing and light soiling. Rollers are present and attached.
