This map was issued in Berney's Hand Book of Alabama and depicts the geology of the state with a color-coded legend. The geology is laid on top of a base map issued by the Colton firm that identifies roads, railroads, iron furnaces, iron ore banks, lime kilns and more. Surrounded by a decorative floral border.

Condition: B

Issued folding with light toning and several short separations along one fold that have been closed on verso with archival tape. There is a small hole at a fold intersection with minor loss of image.
