This whimsical map was created in connection with the 62nd Imperial Council Session of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America in Seattle (now known as Shriners International). Drawn in a style similar to Jo Mora, the map is filled with cartoonish Shriners drawing attention to various points of interest and activities in the region including skiing, fishing and hunting to name a few. Cartographically centered on Seattle, the map covers the region from the Columbia River north to Vancouver, and includes an inset of Alaska at top left. Printed by Farwest Lithography in Seattle.
