An uncommon map of Europe, extending to the Middle East and the northern tip of Africa, as it was during the time of the Roman Empire. The map is filled with ancient place names and pictorial topography. It is decorated with two superb cartouches supported by cherubs, including a dedication cartouche to Cornelius de Graaf. Drawn by Nicolas Blankaart for Jan Jansson. Blank verso.
