This lovely map centers on Charolais in the Burgundy region of France. Towns, rivers, forests, and mountains are depicted. The decorative title cartouche features noblemen, putti, and Charolais' coat-of-arms. A distance scale is encased in a cartouche topped by putti with a compass and armillary sphere. The verso is blank.
