This handsome maps covers the historical region of Lusatia. It spans from Frankfurt south to Hoyerswerda and from Schonewalde east to the Bobr River in Poland. Many towns and cities are named and a plethora of topographical detail is shown. The top left corner is adorned with a decorative title cartouche that features putti in a nature scene. A key at top right helps to identify fortresses, bridges, villages with churches, barns, watermills, and more. An alternate title, Marchionatus Lusatiae Inferioris Tabula, runs across the top of the sheet. Engraved by Leonard Schenk Jansz and J. Soon.
