This pair of engravings focuses on armillary spheres. The first engraving comes from a German edition of Description de l'Univers and features three armillary spheres: Sphere Droite, with the north pole oriented to the left; Sphere Parallele, with the north pole at the top; and Sphere Oblique, with the north pole at an oblique angle. The second sheet shows a larger sphere with the signs of the zodiac and Anemoi (or the names of the wind gods). A banner hangs above the sphere with geometrical figures. Size varies slightly.
