This is a lovely little map of the islands of Japan. Mallet draws on several cartographers for this representation, thereby making this map cartographically unique. A large decorative title cartouche fills the bottom of the map and a tiny ship sails in the sea.

Condition: A

Minor soiling in the blank margin and an uneven bottom margin, far from image.
