The focus of this interesting lot of engravings is natives in the Americas, including their costumes and weaponry. One sheet depicts Eskimos along the Hudson Bay, while another shows a male and female in Guiana. Another interesting plate shows the life cycle of a frog in America compared to Europe. Published in the fourth volume of Histoire Generale des Voyages.
