This attractively colored celestial globe was produced by Scan-Globe A/S in Copenhagen, Denmark (the firm was later bought by Replogle). It features numerous constellations and indicates the relative sizes of the stars with yellow dots. The path of the sun, or ecliptic, is shown as a progression of red dots with the corresponding zodiac signs identified. The steel globe is housed in a free standing plastic base with a compass on the horizon ring.
