This map of the Lombardy region locates hundreds of small towns around Milan and Brescia. The extensive system of rivers in the area is well depicted, and Lake Como and Lake Garda are prominently depicted. The map is adorned with a strapwork title cartouche that incorporates the distance scale. Latin text on verso.

Attractive color with moderate toning, scattered foxing primarily in the blank margins, one small worm hole along centerfold, and an archivally repaired centerfold separation that enters 1.5" into map at bottom. There are light damp stains entering map at bottom.
