This uncommon map covers the region from the Caucasus to the deserts of Arabia. The Garden of Eden is placed in Armenia and other places from Genesis are located, otherwise the map is sparsely detailed. The large title cartouche illustrates the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden.

A clean and bright example with a nice impression. Issued folding with a few fold separations in the blank margins that have been closed with archival materials and toning along the sheet's edges, well away from map image.
