A finely engraved and detailed map extending from the Aleutian Islands to the Caribbean. The map is filled with information on rivers, lakes, and mountain ranges, and also includes numerous place names. Texas is named within Mexico, which controls the entire Southwest. The United States claims in the Pacific Northwest extend well into today's British Columbia. The then popularized view of an east-west running mountain range west of the Rockies is present, as is Lake Timpangogos and several rivers flowing through the Great Basin.
