In the North America map, the entire western part of the continent is left mostly blank. Indian tribes occupy the edges of the defined territory -- Apaches, Sioux, Outagamis, and Assenipouels. The British Colonies and a few major cities are named along the eastern seaboard and in the Great Lakes region. Alaska is shown as a group of islands, the largest of which is labeled Alaschka.

The majority of the maps are near fine with an occasional spot of foxing and minor toning along the sheet edges, away from the map image. Only a few of the maps have offsetting, including maps of Hungary, Russia and South America, which is unusual as offsetting is typically much more widespread in other examples of this atlas. Text and folding plates at the back of the volume have light toning and light scattered foxing. Covers have a few small abrasions, edges are bumped, and the back cover is starting.
