This map is on a full folio sheet (22.0 x 17.6") with surrounding text describing boundaries, climate, chief towns, religion, commerce, government, and history. The finely engraved map delineates rivers, roads, towns and counties. Fourteen counties are named with Warren County created from Sussex County in the northwestern portion of the state, indicating the map was published circa 1824. The principle battle sites in the state are identified by small red flags including Trenton, Princeton, Monmouth and Springfield.
